Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christophe Lacroix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lacroix comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lacroix misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lacroix misses with a looping left.
Lacroix misses with a body kick.
Lacroix throws a hook but Sanchez avoids it easily.
Sanchez fails to land the takedown.
Sanchez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lacroix is fending him off so far but Sanchez persists. Nope, Lacroix circles away and we're back to standing.
Lacroix rushes Sanchez and presses him up against the cage.
Lacroix tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
The is referee keeping an eye on Lacroix - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sanchez tries to pull guard but Lacroix holds him up against the cage and eventually Sanchez drops back down to his feet.
Christophe Lacroix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raul Sanchez.
Sanchez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lacroix using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Lacroix misses with a knee to the head.
A head punch on the inside from Lacroix fails to land.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lacroix takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sanchez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lacroix walks away with a smile on his face. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lacroix looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Christophe Lacroix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lacroix comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lacroix instigates a clinch.
Knees to the body from Lacroix.
Lacroix with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lacroix lands a knee to the body.
Sanchez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lacroix connects with a knee to the head.

Lacroix is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Sanchez has clasped his hands together around Lacroix's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Sanchez advances to mount.
Sanchez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lacroix is now in Sanchez's guard. A big mistake from Sanchez there, giving up the dominant position!
Sanchez looks gassed!
Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lacroix can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lacroix trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lacroix gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanchez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lacroix is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sanchez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lacroix's back instead.
Sanchez is looking for the choke from the back position but Lacroix is controlling his hands well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez throwing wild punches that miss their target.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez controlling well, preventing Lacroix from escaping the position.
Sanchez wants to control the position but Lacroix frees himself and scrambles - Sanchez manages to regain control in side control.
Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lacroix is trying to buck Sanchez off.
Sanchez with the ground and pound but Lacroix regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horrible takedown by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Lacroix which made him look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lacroix waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Sanchez.
Lacroix wants to clinch up but Sanchez keeps it at a distance.
Lacroix tries to clinch there but Sanchez circles away.
Lacroix keeps the fight on the outside.
Sanchez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sanchez lands in his opponent's guard.
Sanchez is in close to Lacroix's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sanchez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sanchez seems to have locked his on tight now - Lacroix screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sanchez, as he picks up the win!
