0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zeke Zooralangui! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zooralangui shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zooralangui was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ohaire throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Ohaire tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zooralangui swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ohaire shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zooralangui sprawls well. Zooralangui wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ohaire gets slowly back to his feet. Ohaire shoots in for a takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ohaire. Zooralangui doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seamus Ohaire. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ohaire is defended easily by Zooralangui.

Ohaire follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Zooralangui drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ohaire is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ohaire instigates a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ohaire is trying to stall.
Zooralangui should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Zooralangui tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Ohaire breaks from the clinch.
Zooralangui throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Zooralangui shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zooralangui showed some decent athleticism there. Ohaire has one foot on Zooralangui's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Ohaire shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Nice takedown defense from Zooralangui. No joy for Ohaire on that attempt. Zooralangui is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Ohaire is breathing heavily. Zooralangui misses with a head kick.

Zooralangui lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ohaire is trying to control the position but Zooralangui postures up. Zooralangui stays in close to Ohaire's body and controls the position. Ohaire keeping full guard, as Zooralangui tries to pass. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Zooralangui pushes down on Ohaire's leg and manages to get into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Seamus Ohaire will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zooralangui lands a couple of decent looking shots. Zooralangui trying to control but Ohaire is working from the bottom. Zooralangui working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ohaire can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Zooralangui controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ohaire closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zooralangui circles away. Zooralangui decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ohaire trying to hold on to Zooralangui's head to control him but Zooralangui postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zooralangui is looking for a kimura but Ohaire is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Zooralangui to get the leverage. Zooralangui gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Zooralangui drives through with a takedown into guard. Zooralangui distracts Ohaire with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zooralangui seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ohaire is working an open guard so Zooralangui takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Seamus Ohaire is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Zooralangui shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ohaire's guard. Zooralangui postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Zooralangui is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zooralangui showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ohaire says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
