Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brook Harris (ranked 5456 p4p, 589 weight class) and Bob Ross (ranked 7532 p4p, 697 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brook Harris ! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Ross! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ross throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Harris counters with a nice uppercut. Harris throws a right and a left that Ross avoids nicely. Harris moves into range and clinches up with Ross. Nice body punch from Harris - that landed with a thud.
Harris has Ross pressed against the cage, preventing Ross from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Harris has Ross pressed against the cage.
Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ross displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harris . Ross has Harris up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris lands a shot to the body. Ross tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Harris smiles and moves away.
Ross swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Harris showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ross.
Harris has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Midnight MMA in the buildup to the fight. Ross shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harris eats them both and turns towards Ross to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Brook Harris has been cut. Harris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ross doesn't seem bothered though. Good leg kick by Harris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bob Ross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ross drops Harris with a beautiful combination! Harris stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ross is looking for the KO! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ross swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Harris counters with a three punch combo that has Ross backing up. Ross nods at Harris to acknowledge the strikes. A jab-cross combination lands for Harris and sends Ross crashing to the mat! Harris follows him down to the mat - Ross regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Ross is rocked! Harris thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ross is still in real trouble! Can Harris finish him? Ross is trying to stand back up but Harris is controlling him
Harris prevents Ross from improving his position. Harris throwing shots but Ross is blocking nicely. Ross seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris is keen to just control but Ross is a slippery customer. Harris prevents Ross from standing back up.
Ross is trying to control but can't.
Harris not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Harris is trying to work for a kimura but Ross is defending well.
Ross is staying active underneath Harris , who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ross tries to kick Harris off but Harris keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ross blocking the ground and pound attempt from Harris . Ross really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ross is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is nestled in close to Ross, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ross is defending against the submission attempts here by Harris .
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ross can do anything to dispel that myth. Harris is trying to control the action in half guard but Ross is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Harris looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ross keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Harris works his foot free and advances to mount. Harris raining down hammerfists from mount. Harris lands a nice shot to the head. Harris thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Harris working for a guillotine from mount but Ross is in no mood to give up. Harris with good strikes from the mount here! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brook Harris dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brook Harris 's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Ross lands with a shot to the body. Harris scores with a spinning back kick! Brook Harris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ross thuds his right hand into Harris 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Harris looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Harris moves out of range as Ross strikes. Harris tries for a takedown but Ross circles away easily and Ross counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Brook Harris 's cut is getting worse. Harris is looking to clinch. Harris ducks right into an uppercut from Ross. Ross misses with a wild combination.
Harris throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ross's head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ross fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Harris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harris connects with a high kick. A lazy left from Harris finds it's target. Harris fails with the takedown letting Ross counter with a right hand.
Brook Harris 's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Ross misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harris lands a jab-cross combination. Harris closes the distance and clinches up with Ross, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes Ross against the cage but Ross circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brook Harris . That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ross misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ross closes the distance and clinches. A battle for position here, against the cage. Harris breaks from the clinch.
Ross misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ross lands a body shot.
Ross uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jeez, Brook Harris 's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Brook Harris 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bob Ross! Bob Ross is the new middleweight champion! Our winner, Bob Ross, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
