Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Beecher (ranked 3886 p4p, 132 weight class) and Gamma Knox (ranked 6033 p4p, 216 weight class). Knox has chosen Marilyn Manson | The Fight Song as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beecher throws a body shot but no joy.
Knox looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Knox cracks a nice hook into Beecher's ribs.
Knox slips a straight right by Beecher.
Knox looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beecher is fending him off so far but Knox persists. Nope, Beecher circles away and we're back to standing.
Beecher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Knox takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knox takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Gamma Knox has been cut.
Beecher connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Knox avoids a punch combination nicely.
Knox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Beecher closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Knox out cold! Knox corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Paul Beecher!
Paul Beecher spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
