Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dominique Bell (ranked 715 p4p, 39 weight class) and Jose The Blitz (ranked 2278 p4p, 112 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dominique Bell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose The Blitz! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by The Blitz.
The Blitz throws a chopping leg kick but Bell manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bell has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching The Blitz on his heels. He'll look to pass The Blitz's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bell wants to control from the top but The Blitz keeps moving. The Blitz controls Bell momentarily but Bell frees himself. Bell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but The Blitz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bell has The Blitz in his guard. The Blitz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bell is looking for a triangle but The Blitz pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bell controls The Blitz momentarily but The Blitz frees himself. The Blitz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bell controls The Blitz momentarily but The Blitz frees himself. Bell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The Blitz stays in close to Bell's body and controls the position. It looks like The Blitz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Bell tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bell keeping moving, preventing The Blitz from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Blitz wants to pass the guard but Bell is keeping the position. The Blitz wants to control from the top but Bell keeps moving. Bell is trying to control the position but The Blitz postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The Blitz pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bell attempts a counter takedown but The Blitz avoids it well and moves away. Bell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The Blitz has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. The Blitz closes the distance and clinches. Bell tries to stall but The Blitz uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Bell tries to pull guard but The Blitz forces him back to his feet, against the cage. The Blitz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bell regains guard immediately. The Blitz preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bell is trying to keep The Blitz in close.
Bell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The Blitz controlling the position well. The Blitz is trying to get back to full guard. Bell trying to pass the guard but The Blitz defending well. The Blitz trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Blitz is refusing to be controlled, as Bell sits in half guard. Bell is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! The Blitz is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
