Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Verheij (ranked 3678 p4p, 430 weight class) and Sebastian Ortmeier (ranked 3456 p4p, 406 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Verheij might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Christon Gray - Stop Me. Nick Verheij had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sebastian Ortmeier!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verheij scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Sebastian Ortmeier has been cut.
Ortmeier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ortmeier throws a hook to the side of Verheij's head but Verheij sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Verheij misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ortmeier.
Verheij blocks a jab.
Verheij tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortmeier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Verheij dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Verheij avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ortmeier takes one to the side of the head.
Verheij looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Verheij takes a swing at Ortmeier's ribcage but misses.
Ortmeier looks to throw the jab but Verheij is out of range.
Ortmeier throws an overhand right that lands on Verheij's shoulder, as Verheij tries to avoid the shot.
Verheij lands a nice hook to Ortmeier's body. Ortmeier takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ortmeier misses with a hook.
Verheij smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Verheij is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Verheij cracks Ortmeier on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ortmeier falls backwards against the cage. Verheij follows up with more strikes that drop Ortmeier to his knees. Verheij keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ortmeier! This one is all over!

Nick Verheij decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
