Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Virgilio Mclean (ranked 25439 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran OMalley (ranked 6511 p4p, 521 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Virgilio Mclean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kieran OMalley! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mclean avoids a kick to the body.
Mclean lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. OMalley has taken the fight to the clinch.
OMalley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. OMalley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. OMalley is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Mclean looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OMalley showing good wrestling skills to control the position. OMalley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. OMalley trying to control the position from guard on top but Mclean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. OMalley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. OMalley looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mclean! OMalley has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OMalley scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. OMalley tries to stand but his arm is trapped. OMalley thows a huge punch but Mclean dodges it nicely.
OMalley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Mclean is defending against the submission attempts here by OMalley.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OMalley decides to stand up. OMalley rushes Mclean and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mclean prevents OMalley from breaking the clinch. Mclean tries to pull guard but OMalley won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. OMalley is trying to break the clinch but Mclean is controlling him. OMalley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mclean has him pressed against the cage. Mclean misses with an elbow strike.
OMalley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mclean has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. OMalley has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. OMalley leaning his opponent against the cage. OMalley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mclean can't fight it off and eventually OMalley manages to take the fight to the floor. Mclean looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. OMalley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kieran OMalley dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
OMalley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mclean controlling OMalley's posture. OMalley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kieran OMalley has got the better of the ground game so far. Mclean controls OMalley momentarily but OMalley frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OMalley stopping the sweep attempt from Mclean. OMalley passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Mclean is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mclean can't do much from the bottom here. Mclean gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. OMalley trying to control but Mclean is having none of it. OMalley moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Mclean has worked his arm free - good work by Mclean!
OMalley misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
OMalley has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Mclean moves out of range as OMalley throws a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mclean has a takedown stuffed. Mclean slips a jab and a cross from OMalley.
Mclean has closed the distance and engaged OMalley in a clinch.
OMalley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
OMalley jumps into guard, dragging Mclean to the mat.
OMalley looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mclean puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. OMalley trying to control from the bottom.
OMalley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mclean scores with a couple of nice shots. Mclean prevents OMalley from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. OMalley makes his way to full guard. A much better position for OMalley. Mclean distracts OMalley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mclean wants to stand and escape but instead OMalley has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. OMalley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mclean's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! OMalley stands up and beckons Mclean to join him on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kieran OMalley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Mclean shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as OMalley sprawls well. OMalley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mclean gets slowly back to his feet. OMalley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. OMalley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. OMalley shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mclean manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. OMalley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. OMalley stands up and waves to Mclean to follow him. OMalley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mclean's guard. OMalley trying to control but Mclean is working from the bottom. OMalley wants to pass the guard but Mclean is keeping the position. Mclean looking for subs off his back but OMalley has passed one foot through into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mclean blocking the ground and pound attempt from OMalley. OMalley with the ground and pound but Mclean uses the opportunity to regain guard. OMalley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mclean, up you get! OMalley closes the distance and pushes Mclean back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mclean is trying to pull guard but OMalley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Mclean goes for a takedown in the clinch but OMalley prevents it.

Mclean is trying to work for a single leg takedown but OMalley pulls him back up using the underhooks. OMalley has hold of one of Mclean's legs. Mclean is fighting the takedown attempt but OMalley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Mclean keeping full guard, as OMalley tries to pass. OMalley controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

And that's the end of the fight! Kieran OMalley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well OMalley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
