Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Chille (ranked 2766 p4p, 384 weight class) and Red Cup (ranked 3740 p4p, 470 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chille might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ms. Fortune. Shannon Chille has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chille ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Chille tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cup takes a jab right on the kisser.
Cup takes one to the side of the head.

Cup has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chille keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cup's efforts to push away.
Cup looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Our sources have told us that Chille has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Chille keeps control of Cup as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Chille has Cup pressed against the cage, preventing Cup from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Cup pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cup throws the kick towards the body but Chille avoids it.
Cup throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chille.
Cup darts in looking for a takedown but Chille gets double underhooks and turns Cup into the cage.
Shannon Chille has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Red Cup.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cup scores with a one two! Chille had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Cup ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Chille out cold! The fight is over!
