Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gavin dives in and grabs Wright's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wright pushes down on Gavin's head and hops out.
Wright misses with a wild body shot.
Wright rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gavin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wright darts in and clinches Gavin up against the cage.
Gavin looking for a takedown.
Gavin is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klavier Gavin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gavin is looking to control Wright's arms but Wright gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gavin has his back to the cage.
Gavin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wright to keep the fight standing.

Gavin has had enough of the clinch but Wright keeps him there for the moment.

Wright is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gavin wants to take the fight to the mat but Wright manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Gavin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wright gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Gavin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wright pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Wright closes the distance and clinches.
Wright is looking to break free of the clinch but Gavin has double underhooks.
Gavin has Wright pushed against the cage.
Gavin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wright gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Wright lands a nice uppercut.
Gavin tries for a takedown but Wright manages to get underhooks.
Gavin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wright fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Wright moves into range and clinches up with Gavin.

Gavin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Gavin counters with a big head kick but Wright shrugs it off.
Wright uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gavin has time to react.

Gavin is rocked!
Wright lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Gavin out cold! Gavin is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
