And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Page!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Page moves into the clinch.
Merde looking to slow down the pace here.
Merde tries for a takedown but Page manages to get underhooks.

Page escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Merde throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Page has closed the distance and engaged Merde in a clinch.
Merde misses with a short punch on the inside.
Page has Merde pressed against the cage, preventing Merde from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Page's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Merde goes for a takedown in the clinch but Page prevents it.

Page pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Merde swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Page counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Merde throws a right hand that Page ducks under and follows up with a left that Page also avoids with ease.
Simon Merde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Page pushes Merde up against the cage in a clinch.
Page lands a hook to the side of the head.

Page pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Page rushes Merde and presses him up against the cage.

Page escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Merde. Those never looked like landing.

Page has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Page creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.


Merde is rocked!
Merde looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Page stalling.
Oh Merde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short uppercut from Page.

Page breaks the clinch.
Page is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Merde hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
