The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Mitchell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mitchell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mitchell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mitchell moves out of range of the body kick from Marney.
Mitchell throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Marney.
Mitchell stuffs the takedown attempt from Marney. Marney gets slowly back to his feet.

Marney closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mitchell pulls guard effortlessly.
Mitchell wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Marney manages to pass to side control.

Mitchell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marney walks away with a smile on his face. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ronnie Mitchell will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Marney will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mitchell up against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Marney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Mitchell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marney manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Charlie Marney comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marney has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
