The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gentili misses with a takedown attempt
and Orava makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Orava cracks a nice hook into Gentili's ribs.
Orava scores with a shot to the body.
Gentili shoots and misses
and Orava counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Gentili shoots in for a double leg but Orava sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A quick step to the side and Orava tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Matias Orava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danilo Gentili.
Orava fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gentili on the side of the head.
Gentili ducks right into an uppercut from Orava.
Gentili shoots and misses
and Orava counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Orava definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A left lands for Orava.
Gentili takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Orava moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gentili misses with a takedown
and Orava counters with a stiff right hand.

Gentili is rocked!
Gentili gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Orava gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matias Orava!
A very excited looking Matias Orava rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
