Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maurice Leon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Jensen! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jensen feints and as Leon raises his hands in defense, Jensen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Leon is working an open guard so Jensen takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Leon fails to land with a series of punches.
Leon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leon dodges the punch combination from Jensen.
Jensen drives through with a takedown into guard. Leon is looking for a triangle here but Jensen uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jensen working away. Jensen throws an elbow but Leon slips to the side and avoids it well. Jensen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Leon to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Jensen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leon's guard. Leon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jensen on the ground. Jensen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Leon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jensen's guard. Leon won't allow Jensen to sweep him here. Jensen trying to control the position here. Leon is breathing heavily. Jensen wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jensen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Jensen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jensen is on top in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jensen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Leon's half guard. Jensen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jensen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Leon has managed to free his arm - good work. Jensen escapes and gets back to his feet. Jensen shoots in and bounces Leon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jensen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jensen tries to stand but Leon is controlling from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Leon looking to control but Jensen passes into half guard.

Leon fails in his attempt to clinch. Jensen scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Leon wants to get back to his feet but Jensen is dominant here and he's now got Leon's back! Leon avoids the strikes from Jensen. Jon Jensen has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jensen throwing wild punches that miss their target. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Jensen is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Leon defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Jensen is trying to stick to Leon's back but Leon is turning into Jensen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jensen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Leon.

Jensen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Leon wants to control from the top but Jensen keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are working up against the cage. Jensen manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Jensen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jensen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Leon trying to control here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jensen controlling the pace.

Jensen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jensen content just to control the position here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Leon is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jon Jensen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Leon enables Jensen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Leon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jensen gets to his feet. Leon looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Leon is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jensen decides to stand back up. Jensen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jensen wants it to stay on the feet. Jensen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Leon's guard. Jensen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Leon working a defensive guard here.

Leon is rocked! Jensen passes into half guard. Oh Leon is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jensen thows a huge punch but Leon dodges it nicely.

Jensen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Leon, pushing him back against the cage. Jensen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jensen wants to sweep here but Leon controlling him for the moment. Maurice Leon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jon Jensen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The fighters are working up against the cage. Jensen manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Jensen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jensen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
