Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Sewer Rat (ranked 8654 p4p, 832 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 4359 p4p, 565 weight class). The Sewer Rat has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St George dodges the punch combination from Rat.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that St George has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rat lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

and St George counters with a shoot takedown. Rat fights it but they end up in guard.
