The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fattori throws a lazy head kick
and Hopkins counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hopkins stays in close to Fattori's body and controls the position.
Hopkins won't allow Fattori to get back to his feet.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hopkins's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fattori scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fattori.
Fattori connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fattori throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hopkins's head.
It looks like Leland Hopkins has been cut.
Fattori throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fattori connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hopkins is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fattori's half guard.
Hopkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fattori is looking to escape.

Hopkins in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Fattori tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hopkins!
