Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Royce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Royce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Han! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Han looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gracie! Gracie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Han tries to control but Gracie wriggling away. Gracie defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Han. Gracie is working to get back to half guard.
Han goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gracie turns into him and now he's in Han's guard.
Gracie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Han keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Han throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gracie passes into half guard. Han is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gracie escapes and gets back to his feet. A punch combination from Gracie misses. Han swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gracie lands a nice leg kick that just misses Han's sensitive parts. Han shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Han thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Han looks gassed! Gracie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Han! Gracie tries to control but Han wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Han is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Han regains half guard. Han works his way to full guard. Good work. Han has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie trying to control but Han is working from the bottom. Han looking for a sweep. Not yet Han, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Han is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.
Gracie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Gracie misses with a two punch combination.
Han tries to land a leg kick but Gracie saw it coming and moves away.
Gracie misses with a low kick.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Han swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie takes one to the chin there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Han dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Han closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Han stands up from guard. Let's bang! Han pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses. Han shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Han trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Han is looking for a kimura here.
Gracie is positioning himself well to prevent Han advancing to mount. Han is keen to just control but Gracie is a slippery customer. Han escapes and gets back to his feet. Han avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Gracie stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Han. A combination from Han does no damage. Han shoots for a double leg takedown but Gracie sprawls well. He's pushed Han's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Han. Han tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gracie swivels and escapes. Royce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Han avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Han drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gracie wants to sweep but no luck. Han postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gracie is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Han, into his guard. Han had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gracie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Han Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gracie's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie manages to reverse the position and now he's in Han's guard. Nice work there by Gracie.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Han looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Han blocks nicely. Gracie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gracie wants to control from the top but Han keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Han looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Gracie tries to clinch there but Han circles away.
Gracie throws a leg kick but Han sees it coming and moves out of range. Gracie tries to clinch but Han is having none of it. Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Han.
Han changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Han tries for a kimura but Gracie is defending well. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Gracie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Han is standing up, even though he is in mount. Han closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Han looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie can't do much from the bottom here. Eddie Han has got the better of the ground game so far. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Han wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy. Gracie wants to control but Han postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Han decides to stand back up. Han shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Han moves out of range of the body kick from Gracie.
Han shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense. Han tries for a takedown but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Royce Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Han. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Han paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gracie shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Han's guard. Han is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.
Han is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Han bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard. Gracie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Han thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Han postures up.
Han advances position into side control! Gracie is trying to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Han comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Han winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
