Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Petro Pspic (ranked 4823 p4p, 423 weight class) and Esa Kettu (ranked 8420 p4p, 577 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Petro Pspic has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Petro Pspic seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kettu lands a leg kick that knocks Pspic off balance momentarily.
Kettu lands with a nice body kick.
Pspic on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pspic misses with a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kettu! But no joy.
Pspic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pspic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pspic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Pspic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kettu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pspic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Kettu counters with a stiff right hand.
Petro Pspic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pspic throws a chopping leg kick but Kettu manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kettu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kettu lands a head shot.

Pspic throws a sloppy head kick and Kettu moves out of range easily.
Pspic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kettu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pspic scrambles back to his feet.
Kettu thows a body kick. Pspic tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Kettu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Kettu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kettu digs a good body shot into Pspic's ribs.

and Kettu counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Kettu has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pspic is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Kettu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kettu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Pspic throws a series of punches but Kettu moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pspic does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kettu throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kettu catches Pspic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Kettu lunges at Pspic with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pspic's hand.
Pspic finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kettu fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pspic.
Jab, jab by Kettu - just one landing.

Pspic looks to land a body kick but Kettu moved away.
Kettu lands a body shot.
Kettu lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Pspic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Pspic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kettu.
Kettu scores with a hook to the body. Pspic takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kettu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kettu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pspic's head.

Kettu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Pspic had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Pspic swings for the body but Kettu moves out of range.
Kettu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pspic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Pspic lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kettu at a distance.
Kettu scores with the left hand. Pspic knows he should have avoided that one.
Kettu blocks a head kick by Pspic.
Pspic on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kettu throws a lazy right hand but Pspic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kettu lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pspic will feel that in the morning.
Kettu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kettu works Pspic's body with a nice hook.
Kettu throws out a loose jab but Pspic uses good head movement to avoid it.
A low kick from Pspic is predictable there
and Kettu counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pspic misses with a double jab
and Kettu counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Pspic will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Pspic takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pspic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kettu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kettu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kettu moves into range and connects with a jab.
Pspic looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Kettu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

and Kettu counters with a body kick that stops Pspic in his tracks momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pspic tries to land a front kick but Kettu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pspic throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Kettu to counter with a crisp jab.
Pspic throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esa Kettu dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Pspic walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oh Pspic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kettu cracks Pspic with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pspic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kettu feints and then cracks Pspic's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pspic down.
Pspic seems to have got his legs back now.

and Kettu counters with a slapping leg kick.
Pspic throws a lazy uppercut
and Kettu counters with a good low kick that Pspic was not able to check.
Kettu connects with a jab.
Petro Pspic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kettu lands with a right that hurts Pspic. Pspic looks to clinch but Kettu throws a short knee that drops Pspic. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Esa Kettu!
Esa Kettu bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
