Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harrison Gale!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevenson rushes Gale and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Gale manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Gale is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stevenson is aware though and is defending well.

Stevenson drops back looking for a leg! Gale is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gale manages to kick Stevenson off! Stevenson jumps back into Gale's guard.

Gale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stevenson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gale is in Stevenson's guard.
Gale wants to control from the top but Stevenson keeps moving.

Stevenson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Stevenson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gale slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Gale postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stevenson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gale, into his guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Stevenson has gone for a leg lock! Gale slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stevenson's guard.

Gale is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Gale must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stevenson pushes Gale off and gets back to his feet.
Gale misses with a head kick.

Stevenson tries to keep at a distance but Gale has taken the fight into the clinch.

Stevenson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alex Stevenson will probably get the nod.
That's time! Stevenson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Gale has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stevenson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Stevenson is having to fend off submission attempts from Gale, who is looking to sink in the choke. Gale doesn't have the hooks in though and Stevenson manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Gale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stevenson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gale is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stevenson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stevenson has escaped and now he's on top!

I would just about give that final round to Harrison Gale.
