Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Troncho Man (ranked 6629 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Salazar (ranked 6477 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Troncho Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ramon Salazar! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salazar's guard. Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Salazar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Man's corner is telling him to maintain position. Salazar trying to control the position.
Man controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Salazar is working an open guard so Man takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man clinches up against the cage. Man pulls guard effortlessly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man looking for a guillotine here but Salazar defends easily.
Man seems keen to control Salazar's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.
Man is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Salazar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Salazar wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar keeping full guard, as Man tries to pass. Salazar wants to stand but Man is controlling the position. Man missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Salazar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Man chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is working Salazar over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Man has Salazar up against the cage in a clinch.
Salazar tries to work over Man's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Salazar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Salazar is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Salazar letting Man take a breather here. Salazar misses with the head strike.
Salazar wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Man has him pressed against the cage. Salazar is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Man is keeping busy. Man tries to score a body lock takedown but Salazar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Man escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Salazar connects with the punch. Salazar throws a left and a right that both miss
and Man counters with a nice double leg into side control. Salazar won't be happy with that. Man is breathing heavily. Salazar wants to control but Man postures up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Salazar parries the strikes from Man easily there. Man is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Salazar to escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Salazar tries to bench press Man off him but Man keeps the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Troncho Man dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Salazar takes a swing at Man's ribcage but misses. Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salazar circles away quickly and effectively. Salazar pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Man looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Man throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salazar was covering up waiting for the punch and Man finishes the takedown easily into guard. Man controls from within his opponent's guard. Man's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Man prevents a body shot from Salazar. Man keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Salazar's efforts to push away. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Man tries to score a body lock takedown but Salazar shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Salazar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it. Salazar lands with a right hand. Man shoots in and gets a takedown into Salazar's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Man is pulling down on Salazar's head. It's preventing any offense from Salazar, at least for the moment. Salazar is looking to stand up but Man won't let him. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Man holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salazar lands a nice looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salazar bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Salazar lands a right hook to the body.
Salazar fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Man uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Salazar.
Man staying out of range there. Salazar fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Man throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Salazar. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Salazar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Salazar jabs at Man's body. Salazar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salazar wants it to stay on the feet. Salazar let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Man displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Salazar throws out the jab. Man gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Salazar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man tries to advance to mount but can't. Salazar can't do much from the bottom here. Salazar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salazar parries the strikes from Man easily there. Man is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Salazar to escape.
The referee asks Man politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Man prefers to stall for the moment though.

Man takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ramon Salazar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Salazar scores with a nice right hand.
Salazar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Man's hands. A lazy left from Salazar finds it's target. Salazar lands a jab to the nose. Jab, jab by Salazar - just one landing. Ramon Salazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salazar connects with a nice looking jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Ramon Salazar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salazar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
