Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rosario Fusco (ranked 6339 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Crolla (ranked 25665 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rosario Fusco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Ricky Crolla!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crolla misses with a straight right.
Fusco tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Crolla manages to circle out of the way.

Crolla shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fusco manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Crolla is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Crolla drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crolla jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Crolla forces his way into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crolla looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Crolla stands up out of the half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fusco lands a jab to Crolla's midsection.
Fusco tries to clinch up but Crolla circles away and keeps his distance.
Fusco scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fusco connects with the punch.
Fusco misses with a wild combination.

Fusco has managed to clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Fusco misses with a short punch on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Fusco.
Fusco lands with a left to the head.
Crolla leaning against his opponent.

Crolla gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crolla throws a big elbow that misses.
Crolla is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Crolla advances to half guard.
Crolla drops an elbow to the side of Fusco's head.
Crolla scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Crolla lands with a punch from half guard.
Crolla is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Crolla is pressing down on Fusco's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fusco is holding on for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Crolla has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Fusco tries to get to full guard but Crolla has control of the leg.
Crolla trying to control the pace.
Let's hope that Crolla has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Crolla decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Crolla shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fusco manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Crolla is stalling in the full guard.
Crolla lands a couple of elbows.
Fusco working a defensive guard but Crolla passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ricky Crolla dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


A right-left combo lands from Fusco.
Fusco scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Crolla dives in for a single leg takedown but Fusco sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fusco's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Fusco duly obliges.
Fusco tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crolla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fusco moves in looking to clinch but Crolla pushes him off.
No luck for Crolla with that takedown attempt.
Fusco tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Crolla counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fusco is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crolla dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fusco tries to control but Crolla manages to take his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fusco tries to escape the position.
Crolla biding his time, looking for the opening.

Crolla is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Fusco with him. Fusco is trying to defend but Crolla has an arm under the chin now! Fusco grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ricky Crolla!
