Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rome takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Miller lands a glancing blow to the side of Rome's head.
Miller is looking to clinch.
Rome fires out a quick counter leg kick but Miller just manages to avoid it.
Miller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rome manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Miller. That snapped Rome's head back.
Miller with a nice cross.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Rome pushes him off.
Miller connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Miller lands a nice hook to Rome's body. Rome takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Miller throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rome swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Miller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rome was well out of range. Poor timing from Miller.
Miller lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Miller looks to land a body kick but Rome moved away.
Miller bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rome's head.
Miller tests Rome's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Rome is rocked!
Miller fakes the body blow, causing Rome to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rome goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Mike Miller decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
