Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robero Tejada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Darko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robero Tejada! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Darko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Darko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tejada shoots in and bounces Darko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Darko is breathing heavily. Tejada stays in close to Darko's body and controls the position. Tejada trying to control but Darko is working from the bottom. Darko has momentary wrist control but Tejada slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tejada wants to control from the top but Darko keeps moving. Tejada stands up from Darko's guard - Tejada perhaps looking for a knockout. Jack Darko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tejada closes the distance and clinches up with Darko, looking for a takedown. Tejada pushes Darko against the cage but Darko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tejada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tejada shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Darko as he avoids it easily. Tejada buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Darko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tejada fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jack Darko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robero Tejada. Tejada tries to pull guard but Darko holds him up against the cage and eventually Tejada drops back down to his feet.
Tejada jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Darko walks away with a smile on his face. Tejada gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tejada shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tejada showed some decent athleticism there. Tejada wants to work for an arm triangle but Darko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tejada trying to control from half guard but Darko is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tejada works his foot free and advances to mount. Tejada cracks Darko with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Darko is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Tejada looking to control and managing it successfully. Tejada tries to control but Darko wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tejada landing strikes from the mount and Darko is in trouble! Tejada lands a heavy elbow. Tejada is working for a guillotine from mount but Darko frees his head quite easily.
Tejada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Darko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tejada tries to control but Darko wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Darko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tejada has him pressed against the cage. Tejada pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tejada jumps guard but Darko stands there with Tejada around his waist. Tejada gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Darko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. The fight stays on the outside here - Tejada looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Darko looks to land a combination but Tejada avoids it well. Tejada is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Darko thows a body shot but no joy.

Darko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Darko throws a right and a left that both miss. Tejada tries to clinch but Darko moves out of range. Darko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tejada shoots in looking for a takedown. Darko tries to sprawl out of it but Tejada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Darko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jack Darko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robero Tejada. Tejada shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darko as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tejada shoots in and drives through. Darko sprawls well. Darko closes the distance and lands a one-two. Tejada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Tejada dodges the punch combination from Darko.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Darko throws a right and a left that both miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Darko showed his dominance in that final round. I think Darko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
