Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Myers (ranked 6684 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Munoz (ranked 6423 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kelly Myers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Munoz! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munoz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Myers throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Munoz has managed to clinch.
Munoz wants the takedown. Myers is fighting it off but Munoz persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Myers's guard against the cage. Myers pushes Munoz off and scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Munoz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Myers is trying to defend but Munoz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Munoz throwing shots but Myers is blocking nicely. Myers is positioning himself well to prevent Munoz advancing to mount. Myers really is a fat lump. Myers is trying to stand back up but Munoz is controlling him
Myers kicks off Munoz and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Munoz dives in and scores a takedown into Myers's guard. Myers is pulling down on Munoz's head to control his posture. Myers trying to keep a closed guard but Munoz is proving a slippery customer.
Munoz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Myers controls Munoz momentarily but Munoz frees himself. Munoz is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Myers pulls Munoz in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mike Munoz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Munoz swinging wildly here.
Myers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Munoz doesn't manage to clinch there - Myers circles away.
Munoz shoots in and bounces Myers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Myers is pulling down on Munoz's head. It's preventing any offense from Munoz, at least for the moment. Munoz is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myers wants to get back to his feet but Munoz is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Munoz postures up.
Munoz wanted to stand there but Myers had control of the position. Myers wants to sweep here but Munoz controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Munoz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Myers wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. No joy there for Munoz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Munoz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Munoz content to control rather than advance. Munoz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Myers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Munoz wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kelly Myers will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

As Munoz tries to get set, Myers tries to push him back and clinch up but Munoz manages to avoid the attempt. Munoz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Myers tries to kick Munoz off but Munoz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Munoz controlling the action here. Myers trying to control from the bottom.

Myers wants to sweep but Munoz has passed to side control! Myers is looking to regain half guard here but Munoz keeps moving and retains side control. Myers is trying to get back to his feet. A control attempt from Myers but he's now mounted! Munoz is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Myers is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Myers wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Myers turns into Munoz and is now in his guard.
Munoz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Myers defends well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Myers being controlled here momentarily. Mike Munoz has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Munoz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Myers pulls his head out easily. Myers is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Mike Munoz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Well, if Munoz is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Munoz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Myers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Munoz is in Myers's guard. Myers controls Munoz momentarily but Munoz frees himself. Munoz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Myers is keeping the position for now.

Myers wants to get back to his feet. Myers tries to roll over but Munoz keeps him under control. Munoz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Munoz winds up and cracks Myers with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Munoz is taking a breather. Myers says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Munoz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Munoz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
