Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Maiden (ranked 3490 p4p, 451 weight class) and Bosco Iwoba (ranked 2027 p4p, 302 weight class). Maiden comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden. Iwoba is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hercules*. Eddy Maiden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Maiden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bosco Iwoba! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iwoba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Maiden's half guard. Maiden wants to get back to full guard. Maiden makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Maiden. Maiden working a defensive guard but Iwoba passes into half guard.
Maiden is looking for a sweep. Iwoba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Iwoba controlling the pace. Iwoba is continuing to stall. Iwoba scoring with strikes to the body and head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maiden trying to control from the bottom.
Iwoba has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Maiden is looking for a sweep. Iwoba is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Maiden has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Iwoba lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maiden trying to control from the bottom.
Iwoba thows a huge punch but Maiden dodges it nicely.
Maiden pushes Iwoba off but Iwoba dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maiden is not content to let Iwoba control the position. Maiden manages to get back to half guard. Maiden wants to get back to full guard. Maiden works his way to full guard. Good work. Maiden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Maiden working a defensive guard here.
Iwoba makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Maiden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Iwoba defends it easily. Maiden keeping moving, preventing Iwoba from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iwoba lands a couple of digs. Iwoba in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Iwoba stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Maiden has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Iwoba manages to get his head free but now Maiden has transitioned to an armbar! Iwoba grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Maiden! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
