Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Travis Bickle (ranked 3591 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Franco (ranked 9699 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Frank Franco! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Bickle closes the distance and clinches. Franco stops a takedown attempt from Bickle.
Franco gets control of Bickle's arms and successfully pulls guard. Franco will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Franco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bickle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franco on the ground. Franco trying to control the position.
Bickle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bickle's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bickle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Franco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Franco is pulling down on Bickle's head. It's preventing any offense from Bickle, at least for the moment.

Bickle stays in close to Franco's body and controls the position. Bickle has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bickle has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bickle continues to stall. Bickle got a little sloppy there for a moment and Franco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bickle has managed to get both his arms back between Franco's legs - danger averted. Bickle preventing the sweep. Franco is trying to control the position but Bickle postures up. Franco looking to control but Bickle passes into half guard.

Bickle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Franco is looking for a triangle but Bickle pushes his legs off easily.

Franco has his feet on Bickle's thighs here. He's pushed Bickle off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bickle screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
