Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sammy Berggren (ranked 6626 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chron Crazi (ranked 6748 p4p, 0 weight class). Berggren comes to the cage accompanied by Mozart - Lacrimosa. Chron Crazi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Sammy Berggren! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Chron Crazi! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Chris Dean and Winston Howard.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Crazi tries to close the distance and clinch but Berggren swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Berggren throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crazi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Berggren is in Crazi's guard. Berggren stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crazi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Berggren forces his way into half guard. Berggren seems to be working for a kimura but Crazi defends the submission attempt. Crazi is pressing down on Berggren's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Berggren drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Berggren jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Crazi keeping full guard, as Berggren tries to pass. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crazi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Berggren is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Crazi. Score +3 for passing guard: Berggren (5) vs (0) Crazi Berggren looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berggren tries for a kimura but Crazi is defending well. Crazi is looking for a sweep. Berggren is looking to take a break and control but Crazi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Berggren is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crazi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on Crazi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Berggren working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Berggren tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crazi is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Berggren's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Berggren has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Crazi defend it? Berggren steps over the head and cranks it - Crazi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Berggren!
