Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Al Swearengen (ranked 6193 p4p, 489 weight class) and Steven Perkins (ranked 6087 p4p, 484 weight class). Perkins has chosen I'm in love with the coco as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Swearengen.
Swearengen throws a hook to the side of Perkins's head but Perkins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've been informed that Perkins has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Perkins pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Swearengen back to the cage. Perkins follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Swearengen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
