Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colm Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Steelflex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steelflex is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dirty Hous'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steelflex keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Liddel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Liddel sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Steelflex is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liddel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Liddel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Despite being in the dominant position, Jefferson Steelflex just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Steelflex has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
