The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solo scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A head kick by Solo misses
and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Juan Solo has been cut.
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Solo moves into the clinch.
Solo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Solo prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Solo prevents it.
Solo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones ducks right into an uppercut from Solo.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Juan Solo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Solo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A head kick misses from Solo.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Solo tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Solo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Solo wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Solo misses with a body shot
and Jones counters with a straight that turns Solo's legs to rubber! Jones pushes forward with more strikes and Solo goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
