The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ronaldo takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Toby moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
We've been hearing reports that Ronaldo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Toby throws a series of punches but Ronaldo avoids them all with ease.
James Toby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Toby. Ronaldo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ronaldo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Toby scores with a leg kick.

Toby fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ronaldo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Toby makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Ronaldo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Toby swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ronaldo shoots in for a takedown but Toby shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
