Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Strickland (ranked 25380 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Marney (ranked 5566 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Danilo Strickland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Marney! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marney gets a clinch. Marney is trying to trip Strickland. He has hold of a leg but Strickland is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Marney persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Strickland controlling Marney's posture. Strickland is trying to keep Marney in close.
Strickland wants to sweep here but Marney controlling him for the moment. Marney showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Marney has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Strickland managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marney stands up from Strickland's guard - Marney perhaps looking for a knockout. Marney closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marney lands in his opponent's guard. Strickland is trying to keep Marney in close.
Marney slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Strickland trying to keep a closed guard but Marney is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marney wants to stand but Strickland has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Strickland avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Marney throwing strikes but missing. Strickland is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Strickland scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's three minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Strickland enables Marney to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Strickland manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Marney controlling from the top position. Strickland utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Strickland wants to sweep here but Marney controlling him for the moment. Marney is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Marney has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Strickland is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marney engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Marney wants to pass the guard but Strickland is keeping the position. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Marney content to stall in guard here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Strickland checks a leg kick. Marney shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marney working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Marney content to stall in guard here. Strickland is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marney scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Strickland wants to get back to full guard. Marney is trying to control. Strickland wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Strickland is trying to stand up here but Marney is controlling him well. Strickland has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Marney is working away from the top position though. Marney is working for a kimura but Strickland is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Strickland throws a right hand that Marney ducks under and follows up with a left that Marney also avoids with ease. Marney with the counter takedown but Strickland avoids it easily. Strickland fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Marney is out of range. Marney scores with a takedown into Strickland's guard. Strickland manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Marney has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nice takedown defense from Marney. No joy for Strickland on that attempt. Marney drives through with a takedown into Strickland's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Marney won't allow Strickland to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Marney thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Strickland can't keep his opponent in guard - Marney advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Charlie Marney has got the better of the ground game so far. Strickland is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Marney trying to advance position but Strickland counters by regaining guard. Strickland keeping moving, preventing Marney from controlling successfully. Marney slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Strickland looking for a sweep. Not yet Strickland, not yet. Marney content to stall in guard here. Strickland looking to control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Marney drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Strickland keeping full guard, as Marney tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Charlie Marney will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Marney pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marney goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Strickland is rocked! Danilo Strickland is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Strickland throws a sloppy head kick and Marney counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Strickland off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Marney follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Strickland was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Charlie Marney! Charlie Marney decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
