PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lethal (ranked 1945 p4p, 289 weight class) and Sergio Garcia (ranked 2675 p4p, 371 weight class). Lethal comes to the cage accompanied by we're off to see the wizard. Garcia has chosen Ludacris - Beast Mode as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sergio Garcia!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lethal loads up on a big right hand but Garcia slips the punch.
Garcia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sergio Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcia throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lethal on the side of the head.
Garcia scores with the left hand. Lethal knows he should have avoided that one.
Garcia tries a low kick but Lethal avoids it.

Garcia lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lethal circles away quickly and effectively.
Garcia does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lethal bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Garcia darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Crunch! Lethal slams his shin into Garcia's torso.
