The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Tower misses.
It seemed like Cordova was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tower.
A combination from Cordova does no damage.
Cordova throws a body shot but no joy.

Cordova has managed to clinch.
Tower misses with some punches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cordova.
Tower is trying to pull guard but Cordova has him pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cordova swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Cordova lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Tower blocks an uppercut.
Tower is trying to force a seperation but Cordova has the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cordova misses with a punch on the inside.
Tower lands a left hand.

Tower successfully pulls guard.

Tower is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cordova defends well.
Tower definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tower is looking to cinch up a triangle. Cordova throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tower's body to avoid the submission. Tower has instead reached around Cordova's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tower arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
