Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vic Stone (ranked 2519 p4p, 262 weight class) and Anton Altair (ranked 3083 p4p, 298 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by George Thorogood - Bad to the Bone. Altair has chosen Bran's freestyle as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Vic Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anton Altair! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Altair does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Stone blocks a jab. Altair misses with a straight left. Stone takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Altair ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stone moves away. Stone shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Altair counters with a stiff right hand. Vic Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Altair scores with the left hand. Stone knows he should have avoided that one. Stone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Altair's waist but Altair gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stone off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Altair defends well and Stone ends up having to push Altair into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Altair throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Stone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stone wants to free his trapped foot but Altair is holding on for dear life with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Altair has managed to free his arm - good work. Stone trying to pass the guard but Altair defending well. Altair keeps control of the position for the meantime. Altair is trying to stand.
Stone is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Altair sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Altair is trying to maintain the position but Stone is very close to passing his half guard. Stone trying to pass the guard but Altair defending well. Altair has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Altair looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Altair cracks the inside of Stone's front leg. Altair leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stone looking to score a takedown here. Altair is defending well but Stone drives through and ends up in Altair's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Altair looking to control.
Altair pulls Stone in close to prevent any damage. Stone has gone for a leg lock! Altair slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stone's guard. Altair tries to stand but Stone is controlling from the bottom. Altair wants to stand and escape but instead Stone has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Altair is keeping the position for now. Altair is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Altair swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stone is working hard here to advance position. Altair keeping moving, preventing Stone from controlling successfully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Anton Altair will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Stone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Altair throws a good cross that connects.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stone. Altair connects with an inside leg kick. Altair lands with a straight right. Stone didn't see that one coming. Altair has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Stone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Altair makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Altair fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Nice sprawl there from Altair as Stone shoots in. Altair throws a counter combo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Altair throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Stone is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Stone has a takedown stuffed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Altair to the ground. Stone is now in Altair's guard. Altair manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Stone has his takedown stuffed and Altair counters with a nice uppercut. Stone shoots in for a double leg but Altair sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Anton Altair is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Altair scores with a nice right hand.
Altair lands with a kick to the ribs.
Altair keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Anton Altair seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Altair - that will leave a mark!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Altair throws a nice inside leg kick. Altair lands a leg kick that knocks Stone off balance momentarily. Stone misses with a takedown attempt and Altair counters with a stiff right hand. Altair connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Stone momentarily.
Stone is trying hard to land a takedown here. Altair sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A lazy left from Altair finds it's target. Altair ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Altair stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Altair wants it to stay on the feet. Good standup being displayed there by Altair as he connects with a hook. Altair fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stone. Altair moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Stone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Altair sprawls well. Altair wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stone gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Altair fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stone chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Altair can pounce on him.
Stone dives in and grabs Altair's left leg, looking for a takedown. Altair pushes down on Stone's head and hops out. Nice jab there from Altair. Stone tries for a takedown but Altair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Altair looks like he wants to counter punch here. Stone fails with the takedown. Altair is trying to counter with his kicks. A chopping leg kick lands by Altair. Stone is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Altair throws the kick towards the body but Stone avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone with a lazy takedown attempt and Altair connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Stone shoots in but no luck this time. Altair now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Altair circles away. Stone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Altair avoids it really well and circles away. Stone takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Altair has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stone misses with a takedown and Altair counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Altair sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stone somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anton Altair showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Stone tries for a takedown but Altair sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Stone uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Altair. Altair lands with a thumping leg kick.
Altair fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Stone drives through with a takedown into Altair's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Altair looking for a sweep. Not yet Altair, not yet. Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Altair is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Altair is pulling down on Stone's head to control his posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stone is pushing down on Altair's leg trying to pass to half guard. Altair is fighting to maintain full guard but Stone has managed to sneak the leg through. Stone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone wants to lay and pray for a moment but Altair keeps working. Altair has his hands clasped together around Stone's back. He's all about the action. Stone is looking to advance position but Altair won't allow it. Stone stops Altair from getting back to his feet.
Altair tries to get to full guard but Stone has control of the leg. Vic Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stone controlling the action here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Altair on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Stone drops his hands momentarily and Altair takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Altair throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Altair tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stone is able to avoid easily. Nice takedown defense from Altair. No joy for Stone on that attempt. Stone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Altair swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Altair lands a two punch combo.
Altair leaves Stone with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Altair appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone has his takedown stuffed and Altair counters with a crisp one two that drops Stone! Altair thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stone to his feet! Stone is in big trouble!
Stone is rocked! Altair fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stone has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Oh Stone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Altair. Altair thows a body kick. Stone tries to catch it but that hurt him. Altair throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. BOOM! Altair lands a beautiful left hook that drops Stone. Stone tries to recover but Altair is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Stone lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anton Altair! Anton Altair decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world.
