The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCurdy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dixon cracks McCurdy with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McCurdy looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dixon finish him?
It looks like Kent McCurdy has been cut.
Dixon circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends McCurdy tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Dixon wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Buddy Dixon!
