Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mezar Mynzek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jury has chosen Fika mai le pese-Zipso as his entrance music. Mynzek has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Mezar Mynzek has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Jury! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jury gets a clinch. Jury gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Mezar Mynzek has been cut. Jury has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mynzek is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jury lands an elbow just above Mynzek 's eye. Mynzek wants a takedown.
Mynzek is breathing heavily. Jury drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mynzek pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jury has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jury lands an elbow inside. Jury wants the takedown. Mynzek is fighting it off but Jury persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mynzek's guard against the cage. Jury really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mynzek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jury decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mynzek, up you get! Jury has closed the distance and engaged Mynzek in a clinch.
Mynzek wants a takedown.

Jury tightens his grip and picks Mynzek up, before dumping him to the ground. Mynzek manages to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Mynzek being controlled here, momentarily. Jury stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mynzek swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jury is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jury stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jury wants to stand but Mynzek is controlling his posture from full guard. Jury stands up and waves to Mynzek to follow him. Jury takes the fight into the clinch. Jury comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Jury landing knees to the head.
Jury lands an elbow just above Mynzek 's eye. Nice elbow from Jury. Jury can't get the takedown.
Mezar Mynzek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Jury.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jury gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Mynzek stops a takedown attempt from Jury.
Jury is working for takedown but Mynzek is calmly controlling the position for now. Jury connects with a knee to the head.
Jury lands a damaging elbow. Jury wants the takedown. Mynzek is fighting it off but Jury persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mynzek's guard against the cage. Mynzek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jury tries to hold on but Mynzek postures up. Mynzek looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Mynzek landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mynzek controlling from mount. Jury is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mynzek throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jury has his hands clasped together but Mynzek breaks the hold and Jury is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mynzek!
