Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tim Terror!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Terror on that attempt.
Terror swings for the body but Silva moves out of range.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Terror shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Terror. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Terror shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Terror is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Terror. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva stalks Terror and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Terror's face. Terror staggers backwards, shaken.

Terror tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Terror has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Terror prevents Silva from escaping the position.
Silva is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Terror goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Silva has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Terror but great work by Silva.

Terror scores with a takedown into Silva's guard.

Terror works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Silva is not content to let Terror control the position.
Terror throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Silva is looking to escape.

Terror seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.

Terror is just content to waste time from the top position. Silva takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Terror is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Terror wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Terror stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Terror is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Terror tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard.
Terror trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Terror is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Terror shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Terror shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tim Terror dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Silva lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Terror takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Terror scores a takedown into full mount!
Silva is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Terror sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Terror is working for a guillotine from mount but Silva frees his head quite easily.
Silva has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
What can Silva do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Terror lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Terror.

Terror has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Tim Terror overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Silva controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Terror working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Silva avoids the strikes from Terror.
Silva has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Terror is looking for a choke. Silva gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Silva manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Terror is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Terror had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Terror Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silva's back instead.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Terror looking for the choke from the back.

Silva trying to get back to his feet but Terror is in full control for now.

Terror sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Silva taps out!
