The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brute rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chan tried to counter with a leg kick but Brute avoided it.
Brute throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chan's waist but Chan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brute off to one side.
Brute shoots for a double leg takedown but Chan sprawls well. He's pushed Brute's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Brute lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Brute has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
