Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Ithamar (ranked 2838 p4p, 137 weight class) and Felix Jones (ranked 5103 p4p, 250 weight class). Ithamar comes to the cage accompanied by Yamma Ensemble Psalms 104. Felix Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ithamar drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ithamar won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.
Ithamar with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ithamar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ithamar pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jones wants to control but Ithamar is keeping busy.

Ithamar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jones has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ithamar thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
Ithamar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Ithamar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ithamar is looking for a kimura here.
Jones is positioning himself well to prevent Ithamar advancing to mount.

Jones is staying active underneath Ithamar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ithamar thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Ithamar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ithamar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ithamar shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Ithamar on that attempt.

Ezekiel Ithamar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ithamar is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jones throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ithamar's body to avoid the submission. Ithamar has instead reached around Jones's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ithamar arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ezekiel Ithamar!
