Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Snapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Malac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snapper's entrance music is Lordi-Blood Red Sandman. A fine choice. Jimbo Malac has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snapper gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Malac manages to pull guard.
Snapper tries to stand but Malac is controlling from the bottom.

Malac escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snapper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Malac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Snapper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Snapper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Malac has his foot on Snapper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Snapper works his way back into a safe position though.
