Vesala closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sheehan Jr did well to prevent Vesala getting side control.
Vesala is looking to stall here but Sheehan Jr recovers full guard.

Vesala content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Sheehan Jr has locked up a guillotine! Sheehan Jr's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Vesala is holding on here and Sheehan Jr must be using up a lot of energy. Vesala has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Sheehan Jr gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
