Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Saloedko (ranked 5647 p4p, 203 weight class) and Norris Norton (ranked 9926 p4p, 301 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timur Saloedko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton falls off balance throwing a combination
and Saloedko moves into the clinch.
Saloedko stalls.
Norton swings wildly with an uppercut but Saloedko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Norton is trying to break the clinch but Saloedko has him pressed against the ropes.
Norton is pressed up against the ropes. Saloedko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Norton down to the mat. Norton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Norton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Saloedko has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Norton is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Saloedko.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Norton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Saloedko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
