Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gee Gee Allen (ranked 1840 p4p, 284 weight class) and Mister Hankey (ranked 1878 p4p, 288 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gee Gee Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mister Hankey! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen moves into range and clinches up with Hankey. Hankey tries a knee to the head but Allen blocks it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Allen. Hankey tries to land knees in the clinch but Allen avoids the damage to the body. Hankey tries to land a knee to the head but Allen blocks with his arms.
Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Allen looks to land a left hand but Hankey moved out of range nicely. Hankey tries to clinch but fails miserably and Allen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Allen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Allen slips under a jab. Allen appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Hankey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hankey doesn't manage to clinch there - Allen circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hankey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hankey tries to close the distance and clinch but Allen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A telegraphed right hand from Hankey misses the target. Hankey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Allen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hankey. Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Allen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hankey looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range. Hankey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Allen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hankey, pushing him back against the cage. Hankey fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Allen lands a hook to the side of the head. Hankey with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Hankey has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Allen uses from the top position. Allen wants to stand but Hankey has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Allen gets to his feet - Hankey follows without any prompting. Allen closes the distance and pushes Hankey back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hankey blocking some punches.
Hankey tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hankey looking to throw knees to the head but Allen is blocking nicely.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Allen. Allen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hankey drags the fight down to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Allen stopping the sweep attempt from Hankey. Hankey is adopting a defensive guard. Hankey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Allen wants to get up but he can't break Hankey's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hankey seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Allen circles away from the clinch attempt and Allen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Mister Hankey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Allen scores with a nice right hand.
Hankey tries to clinch up but Allen circles away and keeps his distance. Hankey looks to land a right hand but Allen moved out of range. Allen is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hankey. Allen throws a big shot that misses. Nice cross by Allen. Allen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Hankey is rocked! Allen slips a jab from Hankey. Hankey takes one to the side of the head.
Hankey is still on wobbly legs! Can Allen finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hankey closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A shot in the inside from Allen. Allen lands with a left to the head. Allen working some nice short punches in the clinch. Allen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hankey backwards. Hankey misses with a knee strike.
Allen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hankey tries a knee to the head but Allen blocks it.
Allen throws a big uppercut that drops Hankey! More strikes from Allen and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Hankey lies dazed against the cage as Allen celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gee Gee Allen!
