Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris White (ranked 2660 p4p, 129 weight class) and Danny Cruz (ranked 7938 p4p, 315 weight class). Cruz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by U Can't Touch This - MC Hammer. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris White ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Cruz! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Cruz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Cruz prevents White from improving his position. White is trying to stand back up but Cruz is controlling him
Cruz is trying to control. White wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cruz tries to pass the half guard into mount. White knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. White holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. White is staying active underneath Cruz, who seems content to just control the action from this position. White is looking to control Cruz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can White avoid being mounted? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cruz prevents White from improving his position. Cruz wants to control but White is keeping him busy. White is trying to maintain the position but Cruz is very close to passing his half guard. White gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. White controls Cruz momentarily but Cruz frees himself. White has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Cruz works over White with some ground and pound from guard. Cruz is in close to White 's body, working some short punches and elbows. White keeping full guard, as Cruz tries to pass. Cruz got a little sloppy there for a moment and White has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cruz has managed to get both his arms back between White 's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cruz throws a big elbow that misses. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
White has control of Cruz's left arm, preventing Cruz from doing any damage. Cruz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cruz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! White wants to sweep here but Cruz controlling him for the moment. White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cruz is aware though and is defending well. White keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully. Cruz wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cruz gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cruz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cruz defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! White controlling Cruz's posture. White keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Cruz dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cruz closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into White 's guard. White keeping moving, preventing Cruz from controlling successfully. White keeping full guard, as Cruz tries to pass. Cruz wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Cruz lying in White 's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. White decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Cruz taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
