Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dixon comes to the cage accompanied by Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit. Lightning has chosen White Lightning as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Mason Dixon has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mason Dixon seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thunder Lightning!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lightning stuffs the takedown.
Dixon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lightning defending well as Dixon loads up on a big left hand.
Dixon wants to clinch but Lightning slips to the side
and Lightning counters by moving into the clinch.
Lightning is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lightning lands a knee to the body.
Lightning with a knee to the head.
It looks like Mason Dixon has been cut.
Lightning unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dixon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Dixon tries for a takedown but Lightning manages to get underhooks.
Dixon takes an elbow to the temple.
Lightning scores a nice knee to the body.
Dixon is breathing heavily.
Dixon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lightning walks away with a smile on his face. Dixon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Dixon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lightning fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lightning rushes Dixon and presses him up against the cage.
Lightning lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Dixon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lightning smiles and moves away.
Dixon gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lightning looking for submissions off his back.
Lightning wants to get back to full guard.
Lightning is pressing down on Dixon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Lightning had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dixon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lightning Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dixon's back instead.
Lightning is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Dixon with him. Dixon is trying to defend but Lightning has an arm under the chin now! Dixon grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Thunder Lightning!
