Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Blakemore!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blakemore fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Soto avoids it really well and circles away.
Soto seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Blakemore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Soto counters with a head kick. That will keep Blakemore thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Blakemore throws a sloppy head kick
and Soto counters with a three punch combo that has Blakemore backing up. Blakemore nods at Soto to acknowledge the strikes.
Tom Blakemore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blakemore tries for a takedown but Soto circles away easily
and Soto counters by clinching up.
Rashad Soto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Blakemore.
Blakemore tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Soto breaks from the clinch.
Blakemore shoots and misses
and Soto counters by clinching up.
Blakemore jumps guard.
Soto is posturing up here but Blakemore has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Soto tries to roll out but it's too tight and Soto has to tap! Slick submission there by Blakemore!
