Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between chai skantze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). chai skantze looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
skantze closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - skantze lands in his opponent's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

skantze feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of skantze's face.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to chai skantze.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for skantze, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
