Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Aguilar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 15 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.

Aguilar scores with a takedown into Clack's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguilar passes Clack's left leg - he's now in half guard. Clack wants to get back to full guard. Aguilar wants to pass to mount but Clack is defending the position. Clack is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aguilar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Clack knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Aguilar is working hard here to advance position. Aguilar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aguilar forces the positional change into back control.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergio Aguilar will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Aguilar lands with an overhand left. Clack throws a jab when Aguilar was well out of range. Clack throws a hook to the side of Aguilar's head but Aguilar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Aguilar shoots in for a takedown but Clack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Clack pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nice defenses there by Aguilar. A looping hook to the body misses from Aguilar. Clack does a little dance to reset his feet. Aguilar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clack. Aguilar throws out a powerful jab. Aguilar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clack. Aguilar connects with a single shot there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clack scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Aguilar doesn't seem bothered though. Aguilar lands an overhand right.
Aguilar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clack's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aguilar wants to control from the top but Clack keeps moving. Aguilar postures up.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Aguilar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Aguilar advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergio Aguilar clearly takes that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Aguilar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Aguilar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Clack tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aguilar was well out of range. Poor timing from Clack. Aguilar looks to land a right hand but Clack moved out of range. Clack throws a lazy uppercut
and Aguilar counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
