Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Bradley Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gator Raid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into the arena with Fedor Entrance Song blaring out of the sound system. Raid has chosen Rio de Janeiro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eugene Bradley Burns has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Eugene Bradley Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Gator Raid! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Burns misses. Raid throws a right and a left that both miss. Gator Raid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burns looks for a takedown but Raid sprawls well. Burns moves in looking to clinch but Raid pushes him off. Raid should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Raid throws a big shot that misses. Raid stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burns. Burns blocks the body kick.
Raid pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burns clinches up with Raid and pushes him back against the ropes. Burns pulls guard successfully.
Burns is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Burns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Burns working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raid doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raid manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Raid wants to stand but Burns is controlling his posture from full guard. Burns had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Raid is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Burns Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Raid's back instead. Raid defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Burns's arms.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raid looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Raid defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Burns looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Raid defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Burns tightening his grip on Raid, looking for the choke. Burns is breathing heavily. Raid is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Burns looking for the choke from the back. Raid is defending well though. Burns let's go of the attempt for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns working for the choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raid trying to get back to his feet but Burns is in full control for now. Burns looking for the choke from the back. Raid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Raid paws at him with a jab and circles away. and Burns counters with a good low kick that Raid was not able to check. Gator Raid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns forces Raid back against the ropes and clinches. Burns lands a knee to the body.
Burns has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Raid uses from the top position. Raid wants to stand but Burns is controlling his posture from full guard. Burns is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Raid frees his head nicely. Oh but Burns has switched to an armbar! Raid is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
