The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Drake darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jerry Drake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drake connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Dmitriy Ivaschenko has been cut.
Drake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ivaschenko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ivaschenko throws a big counter combination but Drake scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Drake has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Drake catches Ivaschenko with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Drake cracks Ivaschenko with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Drake has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ivaschenko to stand back up!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Drake knocks Ivaschenko out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
